Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) 1 and 3

Explanation

With a nonempty class, all students inquisitive and no students inquisitive contradict each other, so A cannot hold simultaneously. All implies some in B. C can describe a mixed class, and D a class with no inquisitive members. The existence assumption excludes the empty-class loophole.
