The op-amp has finite open-loop gain 100 and input offset $V_{ios}=+5$ mV modeled with the polarity shown. It is otherwise ideal. With $V_{input}=25$ mV, the output in millivolts is ________.

Show answer and explanation Correct answer: 400 to 425
Explanation The series input and offset sources place the noninverting input at 25+5=30 mV. The feedback divider gives $V_-=V_O(1)/(15+1)=V_O/16$.
The finite-gain equation is $V_O=100(30-V_O/16)$ with voltages in mV. Hence $7.25V_O=3000$.
Therefore **$V_O=413.793$ mV**, within 400–425 mV. Assuming infinite gain would instead give 480 mV and would be incorrect here.
