Assembly tasks have times and predecessors:P20 s(none),Q25 s(P),R10 s(Q),S15 s(Q),T25 s(R,S). At maximum output rate, find line efficiency in percent.

Correct answer: 95 to 95
Explanation
The longest indivisible task fixes the minimum cycle time at25 s. A feasible four-station assignment is P;Q;R+S;T, respecting precedence and each within25 s. Total task time=95 s. Efficiency=95/(4×25)×100=95%. Three stations cannot supply the required capacity at that cycle time.
