Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 0.41 to 0.45

Explanation

Inner radius is 1 m and outer radius 1.3 m. Semicircular annulus area is½π(1.3²−1²)=0.345π m². Multiply by wall breadth 0.4 m to obtain 0.138π=0.43354 m³, or 0.43. Use the radial thickness to enlarge the radius, not the full diameter.
