Consider the signal $f(t)=1+2\cos(\pi t)+3\sin\left(\frac{2\pi}{3}t\right)+4\cos\left(\frac\pi2t+\frac\pi4\right)$, where $t$ is in seconds. Its fundamental time period, in seconds, is ________.

Correct answer: 12

Explanation

The components have periods $2$ s, $3$ s and $4$ s. The fundamental period is their least common multiple, $\text{LCM}(2,3,4)=12$ s.
