Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (A) Increased AMP levels stimulate glycolysis; (B) Increased citrate inhibits glycolysis; (D) Increased fructose 1,6-bisphosphate stimulates glycolysis

Explanation

The official combination is A, B and D: AMP activates phosphofructokinase, citrate inhibits it, and fructose 1,6-bisphosphate activates pyruvate kinase. C is not accepted for the erythrocyte glycolysis comparison in this paper. Glucose 6-phosphate can inhibit hexokinase in general, so that broad biochemical fact alone should not be presented as proof that C is keyed here.
