In high-temperature tensile tests at the same strain, an alloy has flow stress 50 MPa at strain rate 0.1 s$^{-1}$ and 70 MPa at 10 s$^{-1}$. Its strain-rate sensitivity is ______ (three decimal places).

Explanation
At fixed strain, $\sigma\propto\dot\epsilon^m$.
Thus $m=\ln(70/50)/\ln(10/0.1)=0.073064$. Rounded answer: **0.073**.
