Show answer and explanation
Correct answer: 9 to 9
Explanation
With dedicated workers the operations overlap on successive items. Throughput is limited by the slowest station, welding at 40 minutes/item. Six hours is 360 minutes, yielding **360/40 = 9 items** in steady state. Summing all three times would describe flow time rather than throughput.
