Five observed spot-welding times are 40,35,45,37,43 seconds. Standard time is 45 s and allowance is 9 s. Find operator performance rating in percent (integer).

Correct answer: 90 to 90

Explanation

Mean observed time = 200/5 = 40 s. Normal time = standard−allowance = 45−9 = 36 s. Rating = normal/observed × 100 = 36/40×100 = **90%**.
