Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: 0.6 to 0.6

Explanation

Using the usual average residue mass of 110 Da, the protein has approximately 22000/110 = 200 amino acids. Three nucleotides per amino acid give approximately 600 coding bases, or 0.6 kb. Adding a terminal stop codon would give 603 bases and the same requested rounded value.
