In the circuit given, the Thevenin equivalent resistance Rth across the terminals ‘a’ and ‘b’ is ___________Ω (rounded off to one decimal place).

Correct answer: 1.0 to 1.0
Explanation
Short the independent 1 V source and open both 1 A current sources. The upper pair of 1 Ω resistors gives a 2 Ω path, in parallel with the rightmost 2 Ω series path.
Thus $R_{th}=2\parallel2=\boxed{1.0}$ Ω.
