Muskingum routing coefficients C₀ and C₁ are −0.25 and 0.55. The third coefficient C₂ is ______.

Correct answer: 0.70 to 0.70

Explanation

Muskingum routing coefficients always satisfy $C_0+C_1+C_2=1$, because a steady inflow must produce an equal steady outflow.

So $C_2=1-C_0-C_1=1-(-0.25)-0.55=1+0.25-0.55=0.70$.

**$C_2=0.70$**
