Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (B) shaping with pinion cutter

Explanation

A pinion-type gear-shaper cutter can mesh within the internal blank and generate its tooth spaces with reciprocating cutting motion. This makes **gear shaping, B**, suitable. Ordinary external hobbing geometry cannot enter and generate the enclosed internal tooth form in the same way.
