Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) 293500

Explanation

North-West allocation gives S→1:1000,S→2:1500,O→2:500,O→3:2000,I→3:3000 tonnes. Cost=10000+22500+1000+200000+60000=293500 rupees, C. The method constructs an initial feasible plan; it does not choose the cheapest available cell at each step.
