Correct answer: (B) 3
Explanation
The two leftmost 2 Ω resistors are in parallel, giving 1 Ω to ground. Let the upper nodes from left to right be $a$, $b$, and $c=V_0$. Each lower voltage-source terminal is grounded, so the upper terminal of each source is at 4 V.
KCL gives $2a-b=0$, $(b-a)+(b-c)+(b-4)/2=0$, and $(c-b)+(c-4)/2=0$.
From $a=b/2$ and $3c-2b=4$, substitution into the middle equation gives $b=2.5$ and $c=3$. Therefore $V_0=3\ \mathrm V$, **B**.
