Show answer and explanation

Correct answer: (C) 5′–5′ triphosphate

Explanation

The 5′ cap has the unusual m⁷G(5′)ppp(5′)N connection, joining two 5′ positions through a triphosphate bridge. Thus C. This differs from the ordinary 3′–5′ phosphodiester bonds along the RNA backbone.
