A MOD 2 and a MOD 5 up-counter when cascaded together results in a MOD ________ counter. (in integer)

Correct answer: 10

Explanation

Cascaded counters multiply their moduli, so the combined counter has $2\times5=10$ states, i.e. it is a MOD 10 counter.
